Deletion and synchronization rules

Choose deliberately which direction deletions should follow.

How to use it

  1. Review global and job-level deletion settings together. Deletion synchronization is disabled by default.
  2. Delete from destinations when deleted on PC propagates removal of mapped files inside selected sources.
  3. Delete from PC when deleted at the destination can propagate destination deletions back to the local source.
  4. A direction is active when enabled globally OR in the job. An unchecked job option does not override an enabled global option.
  5. Test with disposable files first. A deletion propagated from one destination to the PC may also reach later destinations.
Good to knowRemoving a source from a job does not delete its existing destination copy. ZIP archives use separate retention settings. These options do not guarantee reversibility.
